Path of Warrior[]

Warriors are unique to Skythunder Kingdom. Warriors train the body, weapons, mana and techniques.

Rank Title Levels Lifespan Description
1 Soldier Stage Initial 100 It can be automatically reached by passively absorbing the surrounding mana or growing up into an adult. At a younger age, normal training can be done to reach this stage before adulthood.
Early To reach this stage, it's necessary to train one's skin and muscles, to unleash a greater physical strength and to absorb larger amounts of mana at once.
Middle To reach the Middle Soldier Stage, it's necessary to temper their own bones to better support the overdeveloped muscular strength obtained in the previous stage. It can be done through simple tempering, or by utilizing the Bone Dissolving Herb.
Late To reach the Late Soldier Stage, it's necessary to temper their blood so that they can flow more mana through their veins at once. It can be done through tempering by bleeding and recovering the lost blood, or ingest the Mana Inhibition Powder.
Peak To reach the Peak Soldier Stage, it's necessary to temper their internal organs so that they wouldn't be destroyed through internal damage. Normally, almost every organs except for the heart must be fully tempered by ingesting several different kinds of medicine to slowly dissolve their organs while they recovered through meditation during the dissolution process.
2 General Stage Initial 150 To reach the Initial General Stage, it's necessary to temper the Heart as the heart is where mana is stored. The tempered Heart can store much more mana causing a significant upgrade to the power of the Warrior. Normally, this is done by taking different kinds of medicine that stop the functioning of the Heart or damage the Heart forcing it to be tempered. This can also be done by damaging the entire body and having the heart slowly be tempered this way.
Early It’s necessary to temper the body more
Middle This was the first bottleneck experienced by warriors. It was still necessary to temper the body, but at this stage it was necessary to have a mastery over mana and be able to move it with a certain level of mastery. Without that mastery, the strengthening of the body would fail.
Late You need to improve mastery over your mana and temper your body
Peak You need to improve mastery over your mana and temper your body

Mages train their minds with mana in order to unleash spells. They are the pure mental path for humans.

Path of Barbarian[]

Barbarians are found in Grandmountain Kingdom and are the physical path for humans. They are similar to Warriors in that they train their body, but they differ in that they train only their body, with little to no consideration for weapons, mana and techniques.

Barbarians do nothing but train their bodies all day. They don't learn much about their opponents and what they should use to counter them. They don't learn about how to use their Affinities. They don't learn about complex weapon techniques. Of course, Barbarians are humans, not beasts. Because of that, their bodies can't become as powerful as beast bodies. Because of that, they still use armor and weapons, but their weapons are easy to use. Huge clubs, gigantic sticks, thick gloves, humongous swords, these are the kinds of weapons Barbarians use. But instead of learning advanced techniques for these weapons, Barbarians only use them as a force multiplier. When Barbarians fight, they simply throw themselves at each-other and compete with raw strength.

Because they do not train techniques or mana, Barbarians reach the bottleneck of power much sooner than Warriors. The most powerful Barbarians have reached the peak of the Third Realm, as none of them have figured out how to reach the Fourth Realm, the equivalent of the True Path stage. They simply train their bodies until they die.

Godhood[]

Unknown to the great majority of the world, there exists a 10th secret stage to which only Mage Kings and Mage Emperors are privy of. That is the level of a God.

To reach this stage, a person must take a different kind of approach compared to the other paths, because there are a few rigid requirements that a person must solve before they can hope to ascend to Godhood:

  • The first requirement is that their foundations must be flawless from the beginning to the end, and powerful enough that it will let the person become undefeatable against anybody else in the same level. If that person fails to maintain their combat prowess, then they must start over from the beginning.
  • The second requirement is the sheer amount of Mana they have to absorb to ascend to Godhood, which the world itself doesn't even have in nature as a lot of that Mana is stored in living beings, meaning that they must kill the most powerful people, AKA. the ones that possess most Mana, and absorb it within their own storages.
  • Is implied in the final chapter to be equivalent to the Star God realm from LITOW
